Last Saturday (May 30, 2020) marked an exiciting moment for those, kids and adults alike, who are interested in space and space exploration. NASA and SpaceX sucessfully launched two American astronauts into orbit, and we got to watch the whole process live on TV.

I’ve had various posts about learning the alphabet from coloring activities to tracing and handwriting practice sheets. Through observation and playing with my kids, I’ve come to realize that kids can get excited about new things quickly (learning the Alphabet in this case), but that excitement and the initial level of engagement can’t last long unless we can keep introducing some sort of new element to the materials every time. That’s why I’m introducing a series of coloring and handwriting practices for each letter in the alphabet in addition to the existing materials found in this subject, starting with letter A, of course!
